IBSAT is an aptitude test conducted by the ICFAI University Group, for students seeking admission into the management programs. IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions. IBSAT is for 2 hours duration and is aimed to test the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply by any one of the following methods.
OMR Application Form
|Applicants are required to fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to the Admissions Officer, IBSAT Office (address given on the left hand side).|
|Applicants can apply online by filling up the Application Form available at www.ibsat.org and make payment of 1,200(subject to change) towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.|

|Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of 1,200(subject to change) towards the cost (DD in favor of “IUCF A/c IBS” payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.|
Last Date of Application
The last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form is December (specific date will be declared). All applicants are advised to adhere to the last date prescribed for submission of the application form. Please submit the application form as early as possible to improve the chances of getting the test center of your choice.
It is mandatory for all the applicants to indicate their e-mail ID, as all important information relating to IBSAT will be intimated to the applicants by e-mail.
Similarly all applicants are required to send their letters/correspondence by e-mail only to: firstname.lastname@example.org clearly indicating their names and Application Number of IBSAT.
Pattern of IBSAT:
• Like any other entrance examination, IBSAT also includes objective type questions with each question carrying one mark and each questions has four choices for the candidates to select the correct answer.
• The questions are asked to examine candidates’ abilities in quantitative techniques, data adequacy, vocabulary, writing skills, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
• All the questions are expected to be answered by the candidates within two hours, which is the duration of the program.
• The weightage of IBSAT Exam in the admission process is 25%.
IBSAT will be conducted all over India. The applicants can choose any one of the test center available for IBSAT. Please note that requests for change of test center will not be entertained under normal circumstances. In the event of not having enough seats at the requested test center, applicants will be allotted the nearest alternative center. IBSAT Office reserves the right to add or delete a few test centers depending upon the situation. The same will be intimated on the website www.ibsat.org for the benefit of applicants.
All applicants who have applied for IBSAT are eligible to download Online Admit Cards from www.ibsat.org, using the application number and date of birth as their user name and password respectively from November onwards. The online admit card will carry the name, address, roll number of the applicant, test date, timings, and details of the test center. No hard copies of Admit Cards will be sent. The admit card is not transferable. Impersonation is a punishable offence under law.
The results of the IBSAT will be hosted online on www.ibsat.org around January. The details of the score (in terms of percentiles)obtained in the test will be intimated to all applicants.
