The T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) located in the international university town of Manipal (Karnataka), is among the leading management institutes in India, and is reputed for its academic procedure and faculty-student interaction. Founded by the visionary, Late Shri. T. A. Pai, TAPMI’s mission is to provide much needed impetus to the task of building professional management capability in the country.
TAPMI currently runs two AICTE approved full-time 2 year Post Graduate Diploma programmes in Management.
1. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) – 447 Seats (300 PGDM, 120 PGDM Second shift & 27 PIO seats)
2. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Healthcare Management) – PGDM(HCM) – 60 Seats
Both the programmes are fully residential.
A three-year (10+2+3) University Degree in any discipline, recognised by the AIU as eligible for Post Graduation, with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks. This applies to also those with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary. Candidates appearing for final year degree examination may also apply. However such candidates, if selected by TAPMI, are required to produce proof of completion of graduation by the time they join the PGDM Programmes and submit their mark-lists and other testimonials within the stipulated date.

The test will be objective type with 150 questions to be answered in 150 minutes.
There will be three sections of 40 marks each and 1 section 30 marks, English/Verbal Ability – 40 marks Quantitative Techniques-40 marks, Logic and Data interpretation-40 marks, Understanding EU-30 marks
There is no specific sullabus for the test.
RESULT AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE
TAPMI has adopted a two stage process for admitting candidates to the PGDM Programme. Valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE scores are mandatory pre-requisites to qualify for the admission process consisting of Group-discussion/Case Analysis/Interviews or other evaluation components the Institute deems fit .
Based on scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE and academic excellence, work experience, extra-curricular and clarity of purpose, candidates are short-listed and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI Admissions Process (GD/PI). Final Selection will be based on performance in the TAPMI Admissions Process.
Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Healthcare (PGDM-HC)
TAPMI has adopted a two stage process for admitting candidates to the PGDM-Healthcare Programme. ValidCAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE/MAT scores are mandatory pre-requisites to qualify for the admission process consisting of Group-discussion/Case Analysis/Interviews or other evaluation components the Institute deems fit .

Tips for TAT Exam:
To appear for TAT exam a candidate should be updated about current matters happening around. Time management and using previous years question papers are the best way to be successful for the exam.As there is no certain exam pattern one has to be aware of the question pattern by previous years and need to apply common scene.
