Conducts All India Entrance Test  referred as AIET for selection of candidates for admission to various medical  Course conducted in constituent college of this University, situated in its campus at Nerul, Navi Mumbai, 400 706, Maharashtra State.



 Candidates satisfying the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for the exam

1. Candidates must be Indian National.

The Nationality Certificate issued by the District Magistrate I Additional

District Magistrate I Chief Metropolitan Magistrate or a valid Passport shall

constitute proof of Nationality.

 2.    The candidate must be either 17 years of age

 3.  The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with aggregate 50% marks & 40% for category of any statutory   Board which confirm to specification approved by CCIM or any other equivalent qualification recognized by State Govt. and State Educational Board concerned with examination..or Uttar Madhyama of Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya with Science and English.

Candidate who have appeared for H.S.C. or equivalent examination and whose result will be declared before the dates of Counseling will also be eligible toappear to AIET


Within the month of June In the month of July

NOTE- Time schedule of the whole process can change year to year


The AIET will be of three hours duration. There will be one question paper at the Entrance Test in English medium containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs), 50 each in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each correct answer carries one mark. There is no negative marking. Other details regarding model question paper, specimen answer sheet, method of making answers etc. are given separately in this prospectus.

Hall Ticket will be issued based upon the candidate’s submitting the form   complete in all respects before the last date for submission of application form  along with the Entrance test Fees. Hall Ticket number of candidate along with the name and address of the Examination Centre allotted to him / her will be sent  through E-mail. Candidate should download their Hall Ticket. The candidate  have to report for examination at the Examination Centre allotted to them.

Since the Hall Ticket is an important document, candidates must not tamper with  the same or make any changes in the entries made by the Admissio Committee.  The Hall Ticket must be produced at the time of entering the Examination Hall at  the centre and later, when necessary, and also at the time of counseling. The Hall Ticket is not transferable to any other person.


    Through merit list and counseling


The results of the Entrance Test in the form of  merit list for B.A.M.S. according   to the marks obtained by the candidates, will be declared by the Admission   Committee. The list will carry the Hall Ticket

Number, Rank and Marks of only those candidates who have secured 50% and  more marks (i.e. 100 marks and above out of 200) at the AIET.


Candidates who secure the minimum 50% marks at AIET-AYURVED satisfy the eligibility norms laid down by CCIM shall be eligible for admission to BAMS  would be offered provisional admission to these on the basis of their interse merit at the time of Counseling.


In case of equal marks at AIET, the following procedure shall

Be adopted for determining inter-se-merit:

First Level: A candidate securing higher marks in Biology (or Botany & Zoology)   in the Entrance Test shall be preferred. If the tie still persists, then Second Level: A candidate securing higher marks in Chemistry in the Entrance   test shall be preferred. If the tie still persists, thenThird Level: A candidate securing higher marks in the aggregate of Physics,    Chemistry, Biology and English at H.S.C. or equivalent examination shall be   preferred, if the tie still persists, then Fourth Level: An older candidate shall be preferred over a younger candidate


The Counseling will be carried at Padmashree  Dr.D.Y.Patil University Building, Sector 7,Nerul, Navi Mumbai 400706.

The AIET merit list shall be a list of the candidates who have

secured the minimum of 50% marks in the entrance test. Mere inclusion of a candidate in the merit list would not entitle every candidate to present himself /herself for counseling. The counseling of the candidates short listed for counseling will be carried out according to the schedule given in following table.

Call Letters will not be sent to the candidates. The physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is essential. If a candidate is unable to present   himself / herself for counseling on account of unavoidable circumstances, he /she  may authorize another individual to represent him/ her. The said representative   must carry with him / her authorization from the candidate in the format given in      the prospectus {Annexure I). Bring all the original documents for verification and   pay the fees immediately if the candidate is found eligible and offered admission.

Absence of the candidate / representative at the indicated time and

date will result in instantaneous forfeiture of any claim for admission

and the University will not be responsible for this.

Candidates will have to attend counseling according to the published merit list. At   the counseling, the eligibility of the candidates for admission shall be verified  from the original documents and those found eligible will be offered provisional   admission. The admission to the course will be offered on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidates.



Candidate concentrate on each section practiced by sample papers and previous year’s question paper  for mathematics as more questions will be asked from that section .Study the problems by doing it. Otherwise one  will not get enough speed or time for entrance exam as he needs to complete each question within a minute. Study other subjects after completing maths.candidates can make use of coaching centers and sample question papers.
