RMAT ENTRANCE (Rajasthan Management AdmissionTEST)
The Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test RMAT admission in the state quota of MBA institutions in Rajasthan will be strictly in accordance with the merit in RMAT
The process of RMAT MBA admission will be performed in accordance with the guidelines / directions offered through the Rajasthan Government. The Rajasthan MAT MBA admissions will be by online counseling, the details of which will be offered at the time of RMAT Entrance Test and on the RMAT
Rajasthan Management Admission Test RMAT is conducted for Admission To First Year Of M.B.A. Course in colleges across Rajasthan. Admission is based on merit achieved in RMAT for admissions in Aided, Self Financed Government and Private Unaided Institutions in Rajasthan.
The exam is conducted for candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only. Candidates can choose from 6,300 seats to choose from 98 institutions according to Merit list which will be announced every year.
Academic: The candidates must possess Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination. However, the candidate appearing for the qualifying examination (Graduate Degree), will also be permitted to appear in the admission test but their admission will be provisional subject to furnishing the mark sheet of qualifying examination (with the prescribed eligibility) . Final year appearing students are required to submit a certificate from college/institution
Domicile: The RMAT is open to the candidates of Rajasthan domicile only. The domicile status of Rajasthan of any candidate will be ascertained as per any one of the following criteria.
Domicile Category A:
The candidate himself/herself or any of his/her natural parents (father/mother) is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. (Certificate 2 (i) )
Domicile Category B:
Candidate has studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan for the preceding five years up to and including the year in which he/she has passed the qualifying examination. (Certificate 2 (ii) )
Domicile Category C:
Candidate is a son/daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following
Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service in the State cadre of Rajasthan). (Certificate 2 (iii))
Undertaking/corporation/Improvement Trust/ Municipal Boards/ Panchyat Samities/ Co-operative/Autonomous Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan. (Certificate 2 (iii))
Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the India Companies Act., incorporated in Rajasthan. (Certificate 2 (iii))
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of any of the following
Universities/Govt aided or autonomous engineering colleges in Rajasthan or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, who has put in at least three years service on the date of submission of application in any of the above bodies. (Certificate 2 (iv) )
Central Government or Institutions of the Central Government including Public Sector Undertaking or Corporation and who is on the regular rolls and is serving in the State of Rajasthan on the date of submission of application. (Certificate 2 (v) )
Rajasthan origin, service in Defence/Central Government Service/ Public Sector undertaking/National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three years service on the last date for submission of application irrespective of his/her place of posting provided a certificate is submitted by the employee from the employer to this effect stating the State of origin and the home town as given by him/her at the time of his/her entry of service. (Certificate 2 (vi) )
Note : 1. Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S) and the Defence Killed (DK) persons should be of Rajasthan origin for eligibility of their children in these categories. The State of origin and hometown as entered in the discharge certificate shall only be accepted as proof in respect of the above.
2. For wards of defense personnel from other states but serving in the state of Rajasthan, the domicile condition is waived off to enable them to appear in the entrance test and be selected in general quota. However, they would not be eligible for the Ex-S/DK category.
It is the responsibility of candidate to ensure the eligibility requirement. If a non eligible candidate is admitted due to any reason then the admission of such a candidate shall be cancelled as soon as the mistake is detected even at later stage.

The test will consist of 200 multiple choice questions with 4 alternative answers. The correct choice of answer is to be filled in the OMR sheet using HB pencil. Duration of the test will be 150 minutes (2½ Hours). There will be no negative marking for wrong answers

It is not necessary that the above order/sequence is maintained in the question paper.

RESULT AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Rajasthan Management Aptitude Test Admission of the candidate will be provisional till the concerned University enrolls candidate and issue enrollment number.
2. If for reasons to be recorded in writing, the CACC suspects that a particular candidate has obtained a certificate by misrepresenting the facts, the matter will be referred to the competent authority ( ies ). On receipt of the report, the CACC would take the final decision regarding the admission of the candidate. His / Her RMAT 2011 admission will be treated as provisional during this period.
3. Permission to appear in RMAT 2011 shall not guarantee for fulfilling eligibility criteria for admission. Only eligible candidates will be considered for counseling and subsequent admission as per norms.

Tips for RMAT Exam:
Time management, a lot of practice with previous years question papers are required to crack the exam
Follow meticulously the general information and guidelines for filling in the application form.One should make sure there is identical application form number at three places i.e. Admission Application form, OMR form and Instruction brochure. Any discrepancy should be indicated through a note sent along with the filled in application form.
Photocopies of application forms are not accepted.
The application form will be processed by the OMR technology, and it is therefore important to follow the instructions carefully.
Fill in the forms in English, using capital letters/Arabic numerals as required, confining them fully to within the boxes. There should be only one letter/number in a box. You may use black ballpoint or ink pen for filling in these boxes.
Darken the bubbles (circles) that appear below the boxes by using black (HB) pencil only.
Do not get the photograph attested on OMR sheet.
The signature must be within the space provided and be legible. Please use black ink for signature.
If any entry is to be corrected, erase the entry (not the outline of the box) using a whitener and make the correct entry.
Do not staple or pin any thing to the OMR sheet.
